"Cirque du Château - Kerguelen" stamps on cover from the TAAF

Thank you very much Stéphane for having prepared this very interesting letter on the occasion of the "Salon des aventures polaires" ("Polar Adventures Exhibition") organized on November 26 and 27, 2016 by the Philatelic Club of Ouistreham (Calvados), in collaboration with the CEPP (Circle of Polar Postal Studies) and the UFPP-SATA (French Union of Polar Philately), paying tribute to Commander Jean-Baptiste Charcot (1867-1936).
The TAAF postal administration was present on the occasion of the issue of the stamp (€ 0.50, design: Delphine Geliot, print run: 40,000) dedicated to the "Cirque du Château", located on the main island of the Kerguelen archipelago, one of the five TAAF districts.

Almost one year later (!), I recently received this letter, franked with 2 copies of that stamp, with postmarks of March 31, 2017 from the permanent scientific base of Port-aux-Français, the only permanent establishment of the Kerguelen archipelago.
As usual, a rectangular ink mark indicating the latitude and longitude of this base of Port-aux-Français, was applied to this envelope by the postal manager of Kerguelen islands.
To note this imposing cachet at the bottom left referring to this "Salon des aventures polaires" and the fauna (orca, gull, penguin) of these southern lands.
This site of "Cirque du Château" is located in the center of the Courbet peninsula (east of the main island) and has been named in 1952 (name given by the geologist Edgar Aubert de la Rüe) because this site is dominated by battlements, with a silhouette looking like a castle ruin.
