"300 years of the birth of Maria Theresa of Austria" stamp on Czech FDC

Maria Theresa of Austria (1717-1780), Archduchess, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia, Empress of the Holy Roman Empire, is today considered as a positive figure in the Austrian national novel, passed down to posterity as a talented reformer who has modernized the kingdom, standardized its legislation, introduced a penal code or introduced reforms in the field of education.
Sometimes called "the First Iron Lady", Maria Theresa is also sometimes considered as a woman of cold and pitiless power, having undertaken questionable actions towards the Jews or the Jesuits...

Maria Theresa was the only woman to rule over the Czech lands (Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia) between 1743 and 1780, although the House of Habsburg did not allow a woman to become an Empress. She practiced de facto her power as a consort Empress after her marriage in 1736 with Francis I.
On May 3, 2017, the Czech Post issued a stamp (32 CZK), created by Jindřich Ulrich and engraved by Miloš Ondráček, on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Maria Theresa.
Designed from a portrait of a young Maria Theresa at the beginning of her reign, that stamp appears on the official FDC above (print run : 3,500) with cancellation from Prague, inspired by the motif of a commemorative medal marking the coronation of Maria Theresa as Czech queen. Thank you very much Bret!
Her initials in a Rococo style are engraved on this envelope on the left.

That stamp was printed in the sheetlet of 4 stamps above with a central label featuring the imperial eagle of the House of Habsburg as well as the Latin mention "Sub umbra alarum tuarum" ("Under the shadow of your wings"). I do not know exactly what this motto refers to, being different from the official Habsburg's motto ?
To note on that stamp the initials M and T of Maria Theresa, the two-headed eagle of the sovereigns of Austria as well as 16 points around her portrait, symbolizing her 16 children (!) including Marie Antoinette, future queen of France.
The 5 postal administrations of Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia and Ukraine also put into circulation on May 13, 2017, a joint miniature sheet dedicated to Maria Theresa. I hope to speak about very soon on this blog!

Bret was finally kind enough to send me the commemorative First Day sheet above regarding that same stamp.
