Merci beaucoup Salvatore pour cette jolie lettre envoyée de la ville d'Imola le 9 mai 2016, premier jour d'émission de cette série EUROPA (2 timbres autocollants, tirage : 600000 chacun) mise en circulation par la poste italienne !
A noter ce joli TAD d'Imola, représentant un des monuments les plus connus de la ville, le château Sforza ("Rocca Sforzesca"), datant du 15ème siècle, transformé en cinéma et en académie internationale de piano aujourd'hui.
Cette lettre a curieusement transité par la ville de Bologne 8 jours plus tard où une vilaine oblitération mécanique a été appliquée...
Thank you very much Salvatore for this nice letter sent from the city of Imola on May 9, 2016, first day of issue of this EUROPA series (two self-adhesive stamps, print run : 600,000 each) put into circulation by the Italian Post !
To note the attractive postmark from Imola, featuring one of the most famous monuments of the city, Sforza Castle ("Rocca Sforzesca"), dating from the 15th century, housing today a cinema and an International Piano Academy.
This cover curiously passed through the city of Bologna eight days later, where an ugly mechanical cancellation was applied...
La poste italienne a bien sûr mis en circulation un timbre (1€) reproduisant le dessin commun choisi par PostEurop pour célébrer cette année le 60ème anniversaire de l'émission des premiers timbres EUROPA, ayant pour thème l'écologie à travers le slogan ("Think Green!", "Pensa verde!" en italien).
Pour rappel, c'est le projet de la poste chypriote (auteur : Doxia Sergidou) qui a été retenu concernant ce timbre commun, évoquant le rôle et la responsabilité de l'homme pour un avenir plus vert.
Le 2ème timbre de cette série (0,95€), conçu par Anna Maria Maresca, évoque la protection d'un globe terrestre par les branches d'un arbre.
Ce timbre rappelle sans doute l'importance des forêts, des sanctuaires pour la biodiversité mondiale, qui ont, entre autres, un rôle capital dans la régulation du climat.
The Italian Post has of course put into circulation a stamp (€ 1.00) reproducing the joint design chosen by PostEurop to celebrate this year the 60th anniversary of the first EUROPA stamps, devoted to the theme of ecology through the slogan ("Think Green!", "Pensa verde!" in Italian).
As a reminder, it is the project of the Cyprus Post (author : Doxia Sergidou) which was chosen for this joint stamp, referring to the role and responsibility of man for a greener future.
The 2nd stamp of this series (€ 0.95), designed by Anna Maria Maresca, evokes the protection of a globe by the branches of a tree.
That stamp is probably reminding us the importance of forests, sanctuaries for global biodiversity, which have, among others, a crucial role in climate regulation.
