Moldova : Alexey Leonov's first spacewalk, 50 years ago...

On March 18, 1965, Soviet cosmonaut Alexey Leonov (born in 1934) was the first human to conduct extra-vehicular activity, exiting the capsule during the "Voskhod 2" mission for a 12-minute spacewalk.
Leonov was then the 18th man to be sent in space (the 11th Soviet cosmonaut).
During this mission, Leonov was accompanied by Commander Pavel Belyayev and after numerous incidents when returning to earth, the two men were awarded "Hero of the Soviet Union".
During the Cold War, the objective of the USSR was then to perform this spacewalk before the American...

This was done since astronaut Edward White made the first US spacewalk less than 3 months later (on June 3, 1965)...
50 years to the day after, the Post of Moldova has released a series of so-called personalized stamps dedicated to this Leonov's feat.
I do not know if it is the complete set (and what was its print run ?) but I was lucky enough to receive the first day cover from Chisinau above including these three personalized stamps (L 1.75 each). Thank you very much Nicolae :-)
To note also the special postmark issued on this occasion on March 18, 2015.
This illustrated envelope has been edited to 500 copies (No. 71 here) by the union of the philatelists of the Republic of Moldova.
It's worth noting that the Post of Moldova offers this service of personalized stamps since 2009.
