Souvenir d'ÖVEBRIA'11 en Autriche

A stamp souvenir from ÖVEBRIA'11 in Austria

Du 13 au 15 mai 2011, la ville autrichienne de Graz a organisé l'exposition philatélique et numismatique ("Marke + Munze'11") appelée ÖVEBRIA.
A cette occasion, la poste autrichienne a émis en avant-première, le 13 mai, un nouveau timbre consacré à la journée du timbre-poste ainsi qu'une oblitération "1er Jour" associée.
Quatre oblitérations spéciales ont également été proposées au public pendant cette Expo dont les deux cachets figurant sur la splendide lettre ci-dessous postée le 14 mai 2011.

From 13 to 15 May 2011, the Austrian city of Graz has organized the Philatelic and Numismatic ("Marke + Munze'11") Exhibition called ÖVEBRIA.
On this occasion, the Austrian Post has issued in preview sale, on May 13, a new stamp devoted to the Postage Stamp Day with its associated FDC postmark.
Four special cancellations were also offered to the public during this Expo including the two postmarks appearing on the beautiful cover below mailed on May 14, 2011.

Le timbre à date à gauche fait référence à la fleur de l'année "Lena amarena" avec le slogan "wir schmücken ihr Leben" ("nous décorons votre vie") et celui de droite, représentant un Airbus A380 (?), évoque le 45ème congrès de la FISA, la Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Aérophilatéliques.
A noter que ce congrès devait initialement avoir lieu à Berlin à l'occasion de l'ouverture du nouvel aéroport, qui a malheureusement été repoussée en 2012...
Florian a affranchi sa lettre avec 2 timbres émis le 15 mars et le 17 mars 2011 faisant respectivement partie de la série "motos" et "voitures".
Le timbre à 0,65€ évoque la voiture Steyr-Puch 500, la version autrichienne (fabriquée à Graz entre 1957 et 1973) de la célèbre Fiat 500 italienne.
L'autre timbre (0,75€) représente une motocyclette 125 D.O.H.C. "Apfelbeck" du célèbre constructeur autrichien KTM, créé en 1934. "Apfelbeck" fait référence à l'ingénieur qui a mis au point un nouveau moteur de course en 1958...
The cancellation to the left refers to the Flower of the Year "Lena amarena" with the slogan "wir schmücken ihr Leben" ("we decorate your life") and the other one to the right, featuring an Airbus A380 (?), evokes the 45th Congress of FISA, the International Federation of Aero-Philatelic Societies.
To note that this Congress was originally scheduled to take place in Berlin at the occasion of the opening of the new airport, which has unfortunately been postponed in 2012...
Florian has franked his letter with two stamps issued on March 15 and March 17, 2011 being respectively part of the "Motorcycles" and "cars" series.
The stamp to € 0.65 depicts the car Steyr-Puch 500, the Austrian version (manufactured in Graz from 1957 to 1973) of the famous Italian Fiat 500.
The other stamp (€ 0.75) features a motorcycle 125 D.O.H.C. "Apfelbeck" by the renowned Austrian manufacturer KTM, founded in 1934. "Apfelbeck" refers to the engineer who developed a new racing engine in 1958...
