50 ans de l'OPEP en Algérie

OPEC 50th Anniversary in Algeria

Several countries have since joined this organization (including Algeria in 1969) which has today 12 members.
OPEC, which has its headquarters in Vienna since 1965, is led since 2007 by Libyan Secretary General, Abdalla Salem El-Badri. OPEC's mission is to coordinate and unify the petroleum policies of member countries and ensure the stabilization of oil markets in order to secure an efficient, economic and regular supply of petroleum to consumers, a steady income to producers...

As a member country, Algeria has issued in general sale on September 16, 2010, a set of two stamps devoted to this 50th anniversary of OPEC.
These two stamps are included on the nice FDC above designed by Omar himself (thank you very much !) with a FDC cancellation from Tlemcen, featuring the logo of the organization.
The Algerian Post (designer : K. Krim) did not show much originality concerning these two stamps each including the official logo of the OPEC's 50th anniversary (designed by Ecuadorian Pilay Lourdes) and its slogan in English ("Supporting stability, fuelling prosperity")...
A tanker at sea, in front of an oil terminal (which one ?), is also depicted on the stamp to 38 Dinars.
Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Kuwait and Austria (the country where headquarters are located) have also issued stamps celebrating this anniversary but I guess that the other six member countries will do the same ?
